Steve Glover, aka “The Preacher” has been a part of the WJOB team since 2004. Born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, “Preach” grew up in Hessville, and graduated from Morton High class of “75”. Attended Purdue Calumet in 1978, and joined the Hyatt Hotel Corporation in 1980.
After one night stands in Chicago, Tampa Bay, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Las Vegas, “Preach” made his way back to “The Region” in 1995. “Preach” made news in 2006 when he married his wife, “Elvie-35” live on WJOB.

Currently, “Preach” pilots The Region Underground-Party Line 219, and his loyal listeners are lovingly known as “The Black Oak Rangers”. Sometimes out of control, often controversial, “Preach” combines region politics with his unique observations on life to expand and entertain the WJOB audience.
