Teria Seah is glad to be a news anchor at WJOB 1230 AM and we’re glad to have her. A Region girl,
born in Harvey, IL, Teria is a graduate of TF South High School and the
Illinois Center for Broadcasting in Lombard. Teria also attended top-rated
journalism school, the University of Missouri-Columbia and is currently
completing dual degrees in journalism and sociology with a minor in political
science at Ashford University.
After giving a presentation during the sixth grade, Teria knew she wanted to be a news reporter. While getting her ‘feet wet’ during internships at Chicago’s WBBM 780 and Metro Networks, Teria landed her first job as a traffic reporter for Metro in downtown Chicago. Lucky for us, during her internship, Teria met anchor Felicia Middlebrooks of WBBM. Felicia steered Teria to her own broadcasting roots—WJOB. Like other prominent journalists who got their start at WJOB (Felicia, Frank Reynolds and others), Teria’s goals extend beyond WJOB. Her ultimate goal is to become a news anchor for the Today Show. She also wants to be a CBS Network radio news correspondent. Teria looks forward to telling Region news stories that matter. If you have a tip, please call her at 219-844-1230 or email the newsroom@wjob1230.com. |
