Born in Hammond, Indiana, Tim Saldana is a 2004 graduate of Hammond High. Tim received his BA in Communication from Purdue University Calumet in 2009. Tim 'T-Rex' Saldana was brought on board the WJOB team in September 2010 and took on the job as producer of The Preacher’s Region Underground on Party Line 219.

Usually behind the scene producing, T-Rex got his first 'on air' experience when fellow WJOB co-worker Ron Harlow called off sick. On the spur of the moment T-Rex filled in for Ron. This eventually lead to the T-Rex Live show, which is currently on hiatus while T-Rex works on the new video project at WJOB.

T-Rex also performs as Lou Costello along with friend Pat Pohrte who plays Bud Abbott at Buckley Homestead for a WWII Tribute Show every first weekend in May.
