Join Rick Kubic for all the music you rarely hear on the radio. And every Sunday Rick's wife Kat (Yoko) Marlow joins the show.
BIO — Rick Kubic was born and raised in Chicago, played music from the age of 5, moved to NYC in 1980 to pursue a musical career which turned into quite a jaunt. He played with a diverse number of bands throughout the 80s including a two year stay in Los Angeles. Then in 1991 he joined NYC based band Madder Rose (Atlantic Records) and had a nine year stint putting out 4 albums and a series of EP and singles. Madder Rose had critical success but constant touring took its toll and they disbanded in 2000. Since returning to the region, he's done video editing and continues to write music and play drums. Being an avid fan of radio, he was pleased to join WJOB July 18, 2011.
