JED grew up in Hammond and Munster and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. JED worked at WJOB in the mid 1980s, traded for 18 years at the Chicago Board of Trade, then returned to WJOB in 2004.

Alexis grew up in Gary and East Chicago and graduated from Purdue University Calumet and John Marshall Law School. Alexis practices family, criminal and personal injury law from her office in Highland.
